Tinted Lip Balm – Peach Nude

Methodology

In a controlled study, 20 healthy female participants aged between 18 to 59 years applied Flexitol Tinted Lip Balm Peach Nude onto the skin to determine its efficacy in keeping the skin hydrated after a single application and to assess its 24-hour moisturization effect.

The skin’s hydration level was measured prior to controlled application of the product. After application, the skin’s moisture level was assessed over four time points: after 2 hours, after 4 hours, after 8 hours, and after 24 hours.

The moisture of the skin was measured non-invasively with a Corneometer by recording the electrical capacitance of the skin surface.

Result

A steep increase in the moisture level was observed following the application of Flexitol Tinted Lip Balm Peach Nude when compared with untreated skin. The skin remained moisturized in 95% of participants over an 8-hour period and in 80% of participants over a 24-hour period, with a peak in moisture level noted after 2 hours of application. Over time, the effect diminished, yet remained significant until the final 24-hour measurement. Results showed that a single application of Flexitol Tinted Lip Balm Peach Nude is effective in improving and maintaining the skin’s moisture for a 24-hour period.
